A lake town with hill-country roads
New Fairfield wraps around the western shore of Candlewood Lake, with Squantz Pond State Park at the north end and Ball Pond tucked in the middle of town. Many homes sit on lake association roads and steep driveways, some of them gravel, under a heavy tree canopy. That combination is rough on cars. Gravel chips lower doors, pine and oak trees drop sap and pollen, and lake-side humidity keeps a film on glass and paint through the summer.
The upside is that our Danbury studio is close. Route 37 runs south from the town center straight into Danbury, and from there Mill Plain Road is a short drive west, about 10 miles and roughly 20 minutes total. Route 39 is the other common way in from the lake side of town.
Seasonal cars and year-round residents
New Fairfield has both full-time residents and people who spend summers at the lake, and the vehicles reflect that. Year-round drivers deal with narrow, hilly roads that get treated heavily with salt and sand in winter. Summer residents bring trucks and SUVs used to launch boats, with trailer-hitch grime, damp interiors and sand in the carpets from Squantz Pond. Weekend convertibles and classics come out for drives around Candlewood Isle and up toward Sherman. Each of those needs a different plan, and we build it around how the car is actually used.
What New Fairfield roads and weather do to your car
Damp interiors and lake sand
Wet towels, life jackets and sandy shoes leave musty smells and grit in carpets. A full interior detail cleans, extracts and dries the cabin properly.
Full Interior DetailSap, pollen and humidity under the tree canopy
Lake-side parking under pines and oaks coats cars in sap and pollen. A ceramic coating makes that residue far easier to remove.
Ceramic CoatingChips and scratches from gravel and narrow roads
Gravel driveways and tight, brushy roads chip rockers and scratch doors. Protection film on vulnerable areas prevents new damage, and correction removes light scratches.

Pickup and ride home for New Fairfield customers
Lake-season help getting the car to us
Summer weekends around Candlewood are busy, and the last thing most New Fairfield families want is to spend one ferrying a car to Danbury. We can arrange to pick the vehicle up from your home near the lake or along Route 37 and bring it to the studio, or, if you drop it off yourself, get you a ride home while we work. Both depend on location and schedule, so let us know when you request a quote.
- Vehicle pickup. We can pick the car up from your home and bring it to the studio.
- Ride home. Drop the car off and we can arrange transportation back home while it is serviced.
- Pickup and transportation availability can be coordinated based on location and scheduling.
Tow vehicles, lake cars and everything in between
Summer in New Fairfield often means a truck hitched to a boat, wet gear in the back seat and a lot of lake-road dust. We reset those vehicles properly and help protect them for the next season.

In most cases, yes. A full interior detail cleans and extracts carpets and upholstery where moisture and sand collect, which is usually the source of the smell. We will tell you up front if something needs more than a standard interior.
Yes. Full-size trucks and large SUVs are quoted based on size and condition. Our Full Interior Detail starts at $299 for sedans and $399 for SUVs and crossovers.
Yes. A coating gives the paint a slick, hard surface, so sap and pollen do not bond as easily and wash off with less effort. It does not replace regular washing. Coating is quoted per vehicle.
No. Every detail is done at our indoor Danbury studio, because the controlled space and lighting are what allow proper paint correction and coating. What we can offer instead is convenience: we can arrange to pick the car up from your New Fairfield home, or give you a ride home after you drop it off, coordinated around your location and our schedule.
